60+ EXERCISE

 

Clarence Park retirement village, The Link, Worcester Road, Malvern (in the village hall)

is the venue for several modified classes for the older adult.

These classes are open to residents and friends of Clarence park, and are only

£1.50/£2 per half hour session.

Monday 2pm Seated exercise, followed by a short Pilates session at 2.30pm. seated exercise is also on at 11am on Tuesdays, followed by and easy dance fitness class at 11.30am.

All classes are aimed at getting you moving, but without taking the exercise too seriously. The greatest benefit is laughter!  Your first session is free, and details of the friends scheme can be obtained direct from Clarence park Village. Members of your family and carers are welcome to attend as guests or to enjoy the café on site.

 

50+ EXERCISE

On Monday at 12.00 we have a stretch, tone and relax class. Although it is aimed at the older adult (many of the classes cater for 60+ years as they have an individual approach), it is open to anyone wanting to take it a lttle easier. However, it is not simple... Seated chair work tests your stamina and co-ordination at the start giving a thorough warm up, this is followed by standing stretching and balance skills, seated stetching using stretch straps, a few minutes abdominal conditioning lying down, and a final brief relaxation.

 

Note that this class can be performed seated throughout if required.
